With an expected launch in January 2025, Samsung’s Galaxy S family will again set the smartphone tone for the first half of the year. It looks like Samsung is preparing a significant update for the S25 family in general and the Galaxy S25 Ultra in particular. Why else would you give it the internal codename of “paradigm”?

Over on X, tipster Arsène Lupin claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will launch with a price of €749 for the 128GB version, while the 256GB model will have a price of €809. That translates to around $830 and $896 USD, respectively.

The best deals are reserved for the new (ish) Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy S24 and Galaxy Tab S9 series. For the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Samsung is offering up to $1300 in trade-in value for your old phone.

A new leak shows the Galaxy S25 Ultra with a new design that moves away from the S24 Ultras style with a revamped frame and lighter build. It might feature flatter, angular edges and rounder corners, offering a more compact look while staying close in size to the S24 Ultra.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to get some design changes that should make it noticeably different from the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Just last week, we were treated to some S25 Ultra renders that show a device with flat edges and rounded corners.

It’s worth noting from the off that the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL is really more of a direct rival to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, both in terms of price and size. However, it’s the smaller Pixel 9 Pro that’s the most interesting model in the family.

Samsung should release the Galaxy S24 Fan Edition. The popular FE brand will join the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24 Plus, and the base Galaxy S24, which were all launched in January alongside the Galaxy AI software suite.
