As the days progressively grow shorter, fall foliage is beginning to peak in some parts of New England with the change from green to crimson, orange, and gold underway.

Let’s start with when we should typically see fall foliage peak in Maine. The northern regions would normally showcase their best colors over the coming week, with the vibrant hues moving southward after that. Inland areas generally peak in early October, while the coastline shows off its brightest autumnal colors by mid to late October.
